HARVESTING & DRYING
In order to properly determine when to harvest and dry your plants you will need some basic equipment. To tell when to start flushing and begin harvest you will need a digital microscope or jewelers loupe. I highly recommend a digital microscope over the jewelers loupe as it displays the image on screen so it is easier to see, but also because you can print screen the image for future reference if desired. Therefore if your harvest timing was perfect, you know exactly what the trichomes looked like as you saved the image. If you're unsure of what all this means, watch my video on when to begin flushing your soil by clicking here. You will also need rubber gloves, pruning scissors and a drying rack. CURING
Curing your buds is important. I often compare proper curing to aging whiskey in a barrel. The longer it sits, the better the whiskey. For this reason using the right equipment in this process can drastically help the smell, taste and potency of your buds. For a full tutorial on how to properly cure your buds, watch my video by clicking here. The equipment you will need to properly cure and store your buds includes 1 quart mason jars, humidity packs and a mini hygrometer.
